beautifulrachel from southern california, Rating:5.0What a pleasure to listen to two of America's greatest jazz musicians together. This is a must for all jazz fans. It was presented as a birthday present to my 13 year old niece, a pianist who loves jazz and blues. This is part of my plan to introduce her to all the old and fabulous talents who are not with us anymore. My first effort was an Oscar Peterson CD when she was eleven. She loved it and put part of it on her IPod. Give these treasures to your children/grandchildren and keep these great musicians alive through a new generation.

comelo from Lafayette, Louisiana, Rating:5.0As with all Rippingtons contemporary jazz, this title rocks! Personally, I can't get enough of them. I own every cd they have put out and live for the next one. This 20th Anniv. cd is Rippingtons at their best.

jarjarjar from SF bay area, Rating:5.0Wide-open improvisation; as if Jimi Hendrix had had a free jazz trio (the first track especially). A range of dynamics & moods; some quieter acoustic things too. Some lyrical; some atonal. All 3 players kill!
