The video was well done with easy to understand directions. I like the fact that there are three 12 minute dances so that you can work on them one at a time. My heart rate definitely gets up and the warm up and cool down routines are a plus, as well.

  • Appropriate for intermediate/advanced dancers

Overall I found this DVD very helpful. I have been teaching myself pole dancing for approximatly two months, and this is the first instructional DVD I have seen that shows each move from several different angles. I would, however, suggest that those new to pole dancing begin with some more basic instructional DVDs. I would reccomend Wendy Reardon's "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Exotic and Pole Dancing", and Sheila Kelley's "S Factor: Pole Work 101". For those dancers with some experience under their belt (or thong!) Fawnia's DVD provides a good review of the basics, and offers some more challenging moves to work on. The advanced moves toward the end of the DVD are VERY impressive to watch, but probably only suitable for professional dancers. Of course I couldn't finish this review without mentioning the set location and costumes. I found it odd that they chose to film in a clothing store, and the costumes are, frankly, ridiculous. I didn't buy the DVD for a fashion show, though, and F...

This DVD did not motivate my daughter to use the potty. It showed how much little bear Glen loved his diapers and later briefly showed him in big boy underpants. Maybe more geared for boys than girls since the DVD focused more on boys.

  • Great Starter Video

Dolphina's Intro to Belly Dancing is great. It is a good quality video and the instructor is excellent about breaking down the different moves and workouts. Although the moves are adjustable enough for any age to handle, I gave it a low suitable for any age rating because it is bedroom oriented (they won't let me use my more appropriate original word) and might not be appropriate for younger teens. There is even a Belly Dancing for Your Man bonus section. My only complaints are that the instructor doesn't mirror her movements, so that when she is telling you to walk to the right-it is actually your left. Also, considering it is all about the movements of the body, the camera seems to focus on Dolphina's face too much. If you're trying to copy her actions it can be frustrating when they keep cutting to her head. All in all it is keeping my interest as I practice the moves and I am enjoying working out with Dolphina.

I had ordered this from another site, paid for it and never received it. I was happy to get the DVD from your website. It is easy, fun, and great exercise. Thanks.
