    • I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!

As an avid collector of african-american picture books, I was already familiar with this story. It's actually one of my most favorite. So when I saw that it was in stock I didn't hesitate to order this for my 5 and 6 year old niece and godddaughter. Knowing that the pictures are priceless and the story is one they could relate to I knew they'd enjoy! Unfortunately I was dissapointed when they arrived because I thought it was in paperback but it was in a small hardbound page format. The story fits all ages but the book itself seemed more suitable for a 10 month old to 2 year old. Overall a wonderful empowering short story for children.
