I LOVE LUCY debuted on CBS in 1951 and quickly set a new standard for situation comedy with its well-crafted plotlines, live tapings, multiple camera angles, and one of the finest ensemble casts in television history. Centered on the domestic life of zany redhead Lucy Ricardo (Lucille Ball) and her Cuban-born husband Ricky (Lucy`s real-life spouse Desi Arnaz), the series also broke cultural ground by featuring an interracial marriage and a female lead who was less than the perfect housewife. Indeed, it was Lucy`s never-ending quest to muscle in on her husband`s show-business career--often with the help of meddlesome next-door neighbors Fred (William Frawley) and Ethel Mertz (Vivian Vance)--that provided the show its main comedic thrust and continues to lend it a timelessly classic appeal. This collection presents all nine seasons (194 episodes) of this groundbreaking series, including the "lost" pilot and I LOVE LUCY: THE MOVIE.

I loved the collection, case and packaging for this product. There are a couple of DVD's in here that get "stuck" at certain parts, however I didnt notice any strachings on the back of any of the DVD's. Otherwise, the deal of the series was GREAT!

This is a WONDERFUL collection for true I Love Lucy fans. I've been a fan practically since birth and my entire family loves I Love Lucy so it was a real treat to get this item home. It comes in a cute heart-shaped box and each CD has great quality. There are bonus features on each CD including flubs and other misc behind-the-scenes stuff and each CD gives you the option of just watching Ricky's and Lucy's musical numbers from each show. I highly recommend this collection!!!

THE SET HAS EVERYTHING A TRUE LUCY FAN LOVES--EVERY EPISODE EVER MADE PLUS THE PILOT. THIS SET ALSO CONTAINS THE LOST CHRISTMAS EPISODE EACH SEASON IS COLOR CODED SO THEY DON'T GET MIXED-UP.. JUST ONE LAUGH AFTER ANOTHER. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS SET TO ANYONE WHO LIKES TO LAUGH AND "LOVES LUCY" I GREW UP WATCHING I LOVE LUCY WITH MY MOM AND EVEN AS A CHILD WOULD LAUGH AT HER ANTICS

This boxed set of all 9 seasons of I Love Lucy is absolutely fantastic. Its a must have for all the Lucy fans out there. I had checked around and Overstock had the lowest price for this set. This set has a lot of extras including the never before released I Love Lucy movie, flubs, restored music, etc. Get this boxed set, you will not be disappointed.
