I raise and show Keeshond puppies and recommend this book to all my new puppy owners. Puppies go through different stages just like children and it's important for us to know what those stages are and how to deal with them. The practical day-to-day training tips are invaluable and easy to incorporate into your own household. The book lets you know how to prevent some of those common problems people experience with their puppies and will show you 'How to raise a puppy you can live with"
I bought my first copy back in the 1980's when I bought my first Aussie, and I have sent home a copy with each puppy I have raised over the past 20 years. It gives the owners a good idea of how I raise my "babies", and what they need to have ready before the puppy comes home to them. It also tells them how to make a smooth transition for the puppy from my home to theirs. It's an easy read, good basic information, and lets everyone get off to a good start. I love this book!
