Part E.R. and part C.S.I., HOUSE is a medical mystery television show that`s appealing due to its creative camerawork, interesting characters, and twisting plotlines. Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) is a brilliant medical professional, but often alienates his patients and co-workers because of his abrasive manner and bitterness. In each episode House is faced with a person exhibiting a number of unusual symptoms, and along with his team of dedicated doctors and nurses, must discover what strange illness is afflicting the patient...before it`s too late! The show moves at a rapid pace, spurred by its turning and suspenseful plotlines and the lively interaction between the characters, played by a strong supporting cast that includes Robert Sean Leonard, Omar Epps, and Sela Ward. HOUSE: SEASON ONE collects all 22 episodes of the program`s first year.

Excellent series. Not appropriate for younger children however since it is slightly graphic.

The DVD's arrived in excellent condition and well within the time stated. I have never been disappointed with Overstock's service. "House" is adult entertainment, so I don't believe it is suitable for all ages, however, I give the entire series 5 stars for entertainment value.

Dr. Gregory House makes you angry, but you keep coming back for more. VERY ENTERTAINING. The purchase from Overstock.com was fast, easy, and the best value I could find. VERY SMOOTH transaction.

In the first season House seemed to have a better disposition in the characters treatment and concern for patients. I hope in future seasons the writers of the show present House with more patient compasion and empathy.

This series is not for everyone, but if you like it, get this. The acting is great and won some Emmy's too. Some of the subjest matter is really not for the young, but overall its a great show. Two Thumbs Up!! I am looking for the other seasons now to come to Overstock. I hope soon.
