I find this book excellent for my son to practice math. It is not fun or cutesy but has all areas of math. It has enough instructions for kids to read the how-to at the top of each page and work independently. I think it would work well for advanced kids in grades 3 or 4 to challenge themselves, kids in grade 5 to get some extra practice or older students to brush up on skills.
