  This a typical Tarantino film. So if you like him then this is a good film to add to your collection. The description is very accurate so if you want to know what it is about, just read that and it should give you a good picture.

  This is kind of visual-experience film that Blu-Ray was created for. Evil Dead 2, is not a sequal to Evil Dead 1, but really a bigger budget for F/X remake. The first one is historic and brought in the funds, but the second one is what you want to see. Sam Raimi went on to do the tv show Xena (also acted in it) and the Spiderman movies, but ED2 is not primitive. It's stunningly beautiful and while undeniably scary, it it is not gross or disturbing. More like The Matrix, it is a trip to another amazing world.

  My teenager (who loves scary movies) didn't believe me when I told her The Exorcist is one of the scariest movies of all time. Well, she does now!!! Treat yourself to this Blue-ray version with added scenes in the director's cut.
