Hollywood Classics-Golden Age Of The Silverscreen (DVD) (3discs)

Well, you have to read all the above remarks. I love Overstock, but they simply MUST implement a quality-control system for grading these old Hollywood movies as "acceptable for purchase/viewing" or not. I have wasted about $35.00 dollars now on these movies that are of such poor-quality I have thrown them away. The other DVD's I have purchased had been perfect. And why Overstock, why, can't you describe all the movies in these sets? You display only the few prominent stars, but the rest of the movies are soooo bad! Please change your policies! Love you guys otherwise.

• How did the image on site compare with the actual product? I have absolutely LOVED everything I have ever bought on Overstockk....I love this company and their merchandise. But these box-set DVD's (vintage Hollywood movies, usually) do not make it clear WHAT movies you are getting. I LOVE Overstock, but they are really bad at describing, clearly, what you will get when you buy DVD box-set of old movies.
• How accurate was the on site description of the product? Well, see above. You cannot ever get info on the real contents of the DVD box-sets. Some of these movies were so bad, they were almost "throw-aways". I guess you have to figure that even if you get three movies out of the 20 that are "watchable", then maybe that's worth it? I have bought three of these vintage Hollywood movie "box sets" and you would think I'd know better! Use your money buying single movies, where you really know what you are getting. The quality on the "regular" DVD's (non-vintage Hollywood) has always been perfect.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. Wow....most of the really old movies are not even watchable. They are not only grainy and have remarkably bad sound, some were actually "tiling" (like pixilating the images, in a way, called "tiling")and were completely unwatchable. They were disposed of in the garbage so you do waste money when buying these old movies.
