If you were to buy one book to get someone started (and hooked!) in HO Model Railroading, this is the one. It gives you the very important facts of what to look for when purchasing your first trains (sets, or rolling stock and engines separately), what to do to get a layout started & then keeping it going without a lot of headaches. I highly recommend this, as the focus is on the basics and a bit beyond.
