Steel Dragon is the name of a fictitious hard rock band (created for the film of same name - 2001') featuring REAL musicians from REAL Heavy Metal bands. . .I will always love! {Guitar:> Zakk Wylde <> Bass:> Jeff Pilson <> Drums:> Jason Bonham. .in movie! (son of power-house drummer John Bonham = Led Zeppelin) <> VOICING:> "We All Die Young" to sweet perfection = Miljenko Matijevic / aka:> Michael Matijevic & REAL front man of the band SteelHeart} "We All Die Young" is a song by Matijevic -And- appears on SteelHeart's (1996) album "WAIT". Song: "Colorful" (Verve Pipe) is just as excellent, & a befitting choice to close the film! Michael, musicians, & artists responsible for the continued effort. . .THANK YOU !!! ~ D.S.

This is their worst CD ever. I really enjoy their music, but this was a waste of my money.

I've been listening to Prong since 89'-90'. Their Piéce de Résistance for me has always been 'Cleansing'. I'm not quite ready to put 'Carved Into Stone' into that number one slot yet but it ranks right up there with the best work Prong has done to date. Great production on this cd as well. Tommy Victor certainly has a knack for getting the right twists and turns out of his music and this latest incarnation of Prong sounds energized, aggressive and poised to take on all comers. Highly recommended!

Savatage is an American speed metal band founded by the brothers Jon and Criss Oliva. It?s a shame that Savatage could not have been around either few years earlier or later than their time they played together under the name Savatage. The biggest barrier to Savatage may have been their name itself or the fact that Grunge Rock was putting a hurting on the metal bands of the time. Edge of Thorns would be the last album that Chris Oliva would play on, due to an early death caused by a drunk driver. This review is about the Savatage album: ?The Edge of Thorns?, but how can one understand this time period of the band without knowing some other background that led up to the point of maybe their most commercially successful release. In 1987, Savatage released their first commercially successful album, Hall of the Mountain King, which became the base for the band being catapulted into a more mainstream arena. This album introduced a new musical style, featuring symphonic instrumentals stro...
