I ordered this gift for a family member. I shopped around to different sites to price the item. Overstock had the best price so I had to jump on it and I'm glad I did, because the recepient really enjoyed the set and was impressed by the packaging. I would've given it 5 stars but the product took longer than expected with no current updates for the delivery, so my gift was given after her actual birthday. All in all, its still a great buy and overstock staff was extremely helpful in assisting me with my questions regarding shipment.

I am so glad that I bought the harry potter books from overstock. They were perfect and cheaper than any local bookstore. Fast shipping and perfect condition. I am so happy.

The book set was very nice. My son was thrilled. Unfortunately this was meant as a christmas gift, but he seen it on the deck the day it was delivered when he came home from school. That is my one complaint. It said wht it was in big letters on the outside box that it was shipped in.

Beware if you are ordering these as a gift! The box they are shipped in has the Harry Potter Boxed Set and logo printed all over the outside. So much for the Christmas surprise. :(

The collection set was great! With the exception of the collector box being just mere - cardboard was a big disappointment! A leather case would have made the whole collection complete. Since all seven books are heavy, it's hard to drag around the box that is flimsily made. Other than that, the collection was a hit! I really think they should make these cases with better materials rather than with cheap- cardboard. Anyone knows where to find a leather case which can fit all seven books in? Please let me know!

How nice it is to have the entire collection in one display box!!!! The box is a strong cardboard material, so dont be fooled into thinking it is made of wood. However, we dont read the box -- we read the books.... and overall I am really happy that I ordered it. For those that are Harry Potter fans and are missing books from the series, this would make a wonderful Christmas surprise gift.

The books are great, but the trunk it comes in is just printed cardboard. Kind of cheap for a box set

I honestly thought it was going to be a cheap thin cardboard box that was mostly for show to hold the 15+ pounds of books. Instead I was pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness of the box, as well as the attention to detail on the box itself. Of course, all of the books inside were flawless, hardcover and they have that new book smell. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was the small book of stickers which come with this case. It really made the person who received the gift light up with excitement. Highly recommended.

A VERY NICE presentation piece for any Harry Potter fan. I bought this boxed set for a friend of mine who had READ all of the books, but never owned them all.... Here was a lovely presentation, at a WONDERFULLY reduced price .... and I knew she would be VERY honored to keep this boxed set on her bookshelf for years to come. Now if I can only find her some Chocolate Frogs........

These books are very nice and very heavy, quality hardback books! The case is a neat presentation, but it's not very sturdy. It's not the highlight of the set though, the books are and they are great!

We ordered this boxed set for our daughter as a Christmas gift and when it arrived, the shipping box has "Harry Potter" labels all over it identifying it as to what it is. We were lucky to have found the box first and get it put away before she caught a glimpse. Other than that, the books and storage box look great! The one thing that the on-line description diesn't mention is that the storage box is actually cardboard and not wood as I might have hoped but all-in-all, it's going to be a great gift! I'd recommend this to other Harry Potter fans!

This was a great gift for our 8 yo daughter. The books are great. It would have been nice if the chest box was a little sturdier so that it would last longer. The package arrived in a plain box and not the HP box that previous posters have had problems with.
