I bought this box-set over a year ago, and I love them. I have read all of the books, and have only one complaint; the pages were easily torn away from the spine. The convent carrying case was a nice touch, but I though the rope handles were a bit much to carry a light cardboard box with 7 books inside. But all in all I still love my Harry Potter books and case. :)
Believe it or not I ordered this as a birthday gift for my fiance. haha He wanted to get the whole hard cover collection set, but had yet to do. When it came in the mail, he had no clue... pulled it out of the big box and was very surprised. The "treasure box" it comes in is very creative and adorable. It is just cardboard, but I was still very satisfied and I don't even read Harry Potter. I would order it for anyone in the future.
The product was in perfect condition, and the set is great. Thought the trunk included was great (don't plan on using the decals included to decorate it). Am already half-way through the fourth book (second time around reading all of them). Other than a potential shipping destination hiccup, the transaction went very smooth and I would definitely order from Overstock again.
So the box in comes in looks kinda cool in the picture. It's just cardboard. Kids would probably love it and play with it - but I think it's cheap and not very functional. Of course we love the books though, so we thought it'd be a great idea to get the hard cover set. Inside the box with a lid is a nice little open-faced box that we use to keep the books together on our shelf.
