This is a page turner book, with an excellent story telling technique. Even though I haven't quite finished it, , I have had a very hard time putting it down for any length of time. It is part of a series but it stands alone as well. The story is about a small town and the interesting family who resides there. They are highly motivated individuals, all part of the same founding family and the other residents of the town. Each person's character is expertly developed to intergrate easily into the story line and expand the ongoing story as it develops. I am thoroughly enjoying my weekend with this book and you will too. A very good read!!!!
