Endless Waltz is pretty much your standard Gundam fare. That said, what they do, they do pretty well.
For those not into anime, not familiar with the Gundam franchise, and the Wing storyline specifically, I can't honestly say you're going to get a whole lot out of this.
However, if you are a fan of Gundam or anime in general. This is probably going to be worth the investment.
This is not the story of gundam wing. Let's clear that up
right away. It's a story set in the same continuity a few years later. The main gundam W plot gets explained a little, but some working knowledge of the original series helps. (thought I don't think the complete operations box set is worth the dear $200.00 just to explain this feature.)
This title really delivers everything people go to Gundam for; giant robots blowing each other up, character intrigue and of course, a big deal about human nature and how it relates to war.
At the end of the day, it's a good package. (You get both the endless waltz movie and OVA) And it's at a nice price point, so really if Giant fighting robots are your thing, this isn't a bad choice.
