  Best of the Black Pot is not your average Dutch Oven Cookbook. Mark includes traditional recipes like Dutch Oven Chicken and Potatoes and more advanced recipes like Parmesan-Crusted Cornish Hens. In addition to the recipes, Mark includes commentary as to why he tried the recipe and walks you through what he did to cook the recipe. It is a welcome addition to my dutch oven book collection and I can’t wait to try out some more of Mark’s recipes.

  So far I have purchased this book for two very different men as a gift. I am a foodie and I have total respect for the author which I why I chose this book. The recipes are clear and easy for even the most novice of barbeque masters to understand. They both loved it and refer to it often. A great buy!
