I orignially took this book out at the library and loved it and wound up buying it for myself. My sister asked about it and I sent it to her thru Overstock.com. I had no idea when it would get there but it was there exactly on her birthday (6 days after I ordrered it) and I was extremely happy as was my sister . The price was the best and I encourage anyone to order from them. Thank you. Dana

this is a great book and highly recommended if you just want to leave a little greener or very green. It has steps and website info. to help you on your path.

I thought this was a fun book to read. I was a little disappointed when I went to look up some of the websites she recommends and they were the wrong addresses. I guess things change so fast nowadays that its impossible to keep everything up to date but still, this is a very new book. I question some of the advice this author gives since I don't think she's exactly an academically trained expert of some of the subjects. However, I learned some stuff and there's a lot of good advice for people who are just starting to "go green."

This is a fun book to read and be informed about how a little change can go a long way and an awareness of many things we may be naive about. I also bought one for my daughter and she really likes it. Day by day through knowledge and dedication we can give back to our planet what we have taken for granted for so long. May we all become responsible human beings.

This book is an excellent introduction to living the green life. The author is amazing in her ability to take concepts and bring them out of the "hippie zone" and into the main stream. I bought several copies including one for my non environmentally friendly sister. I believe if everyone just adopted one or two concepts we would make a huge impact on the environment.

Very good book with alot of information.I found it quite interesting. I first saw the author on the Oprah show with Julia Roberts and it peaked my interest as to how I could become more green.

Really brings 'going green' out of the past stereotpye and offers great information for ladies in the 21st century to preserve our planet. Enjoyably readable, clear, and fun.
