I was pleased with the way that the movie dealt with one of the darkest period in our history.There were striking contrasts between (Edwin R.Murrow) played by David Strathaim and Joseph McCarthy (Himself) with his brand of strong-arming politics that really shaped an American society's values concerning the democratic processes. The movie questions how far is one really willing to go to preserve a democracy or to destroy it.Anyway,you be the judge of this interesting flick.

An interesting although smoky account of a time when Senator Macarthy was making a senseless witch hunt for communists in the us & ruining many honest peoples lives for a time. He was eventually censored but not before ruining the careers of many people in Hollywood & elsewhere.
