Get Out of My Life, but First Could You Drive Me and Cheryl to the Mall

My son had to buy this book for school and couldn't find it in the bookstore . Condition was very good. Shipping was a bit slow for the cost. Would recommend seller.

This book really helped me understand the behaivior of teens. The book is very entertaining as well as informative. And I am usually really tired, but I was able to concentrate on this. If you have teens and have been praying for help, here is your answer. I have one child with ADD one with ADHD. this even helped me understand them.

This book should be owned by every parent with a pre-teen or teen who would like a little insite to what is happening naturally to their child at this age.The reading is so enjoyable and easy to understand, which I especially appreciate. My 12 year old son's hormones have kicked in and as I read the book it is so reassuring to understand that he is a "normal" adolescent. Normal,but still difficult. I especially enjoy the way the author explains what is happening to the kids to prepare them for later years and he discusses possible ways to handle situations so life is not quite so earth shattering between parent and child.I'm sure I will read this book over and over again.

I certainly gained much insight from the book. I did not buy it hook line and sinker but can apply many areas to my situation. The author is not convinced punishment and grounding is helpful to detouring bad behavior of teenagers. He feels they will continue the bad behavior if it's what they want. He admits some professionals feel otherwise and I admire his admission of that fact. I believe simply pointing out that you caught the child doing something unacceptable is useless. In fact it seems like almost a reward for the effort the teenager made to conceal the behavior. I also part ways on the language that he uses in his examples of dialogue with teens. If my adolescents used any fraction of these words they would be in a very sorry place. Being from the Midwest we cant imagine such disrespect, even in adolescence.
