    This is just a nice old British show, impeccably acted, generously witty, and just plain sweet-spirited. My wife really loves it, but they took it off Netflix before she was even two whole seasons into it. If you're looking for thrills and chills, or whizbang special effects, or sex and/or violence, then you need to turn elsewhere But if you want to watch something that leaves you feeling better afterward than you did beforehand, then this may be just the ticket. It tells the story of a veterinary practice in rural England, with the rather colorful personalities not just of the salt-o'-the-earth worthies whose animals they treat. but also of our protagonist's somewhat eccentric colleagues. The sets are gorgeous, and the cars, which almost become characters themselves in some episodes, are really interesting.
