Daniel Steel is always a great read. I have read all of her books and I am never disappointed. I wish they would make more of these books into movies. I have the all of the old ones. I also like to buy the books on the I-pad.

This book was one of those you just couldn't set down, I read it in three days. So sad what they had to go though to survive. You won't go wrong in purchasing this book.

Andrews uses clear and beautifully descriptive language to really bring the reader into his experiences giving a first hand look at life on a large ranch on the edge of the wilderness. The interplay of the wolf activity running parallel with his own up to their meeting gives some insight into both perspectives. This book is a good start to helping people understand the complexities and importance of maintaining a healthy relationship between the people, wildlife and the land - there are compromises made on all sides.

This book has been a standard in our household for years, and now our grown children are giving it to, or reading it with our age appropriate grand children.
