  Once in a while you run across a book that will rattle you to the core. This is one of them.This book is "An Awakening"! I have read it twice now and made drastic changes in the way I purchase and prepare meals. The book is well written, easy to understand and Charlotte Gerson is a walking testimonial at 80 something. I had watched the Gerson Miracle documentary, which was excellent and it led me to this book. .All these diseases we have today can be PREVENTED and REVERSED with a plant based diet. My experience has been that physicians treat symptoms and they rarely try to find the root of the problem. The Gerson Therapy has changed my life, my sister's who suffered from arthritis, my neighbors, my friends and from here on everyone I encounter who is afflicted with cancer and any diseases.   Dr. Buttar is a true warrior. He had dared to question the status quo and anyone who listens to his message and can put his recommendations into practice will benefit. So many "smart" physicians are so "uncurious" when it comes to the benefits of natural health. Knowledge is attained by questioning, always asking how? why? I am celebrating the success of this book. It is clear that the public wants more than just an 8 minute visit with their physician and leaving with a prescription in hand. There is just so much more that can be done.
