Thsi book is written with the california Gardener in mind. many of the plants she recommends though, I would not see being able to be grown in the mountains, where it gets cold at times of the year, but since we are close to the coast, I found the book highly informative and will be using it to plot the rest of my organic garden here at home.
I am never disappointed when I order a book from Overstock! The selection of gardening books that they have is amazing, and this book was essential for me to plan out hoe to dry and save the seeds that I wished to use in the future for my organic gardening endeavors. It is well written and very easy to understand. My teenage son has even begun getting into gardening with me, and found this book very helpful in his education regarding the hobby.
