Fatal Exchange by Lisa Harris Lisa Harris hit it out the park with this one. The last thing in the world Emily Hunt wants is to be is a cop or be in a relationship with one. Having grown up in a family of cops she decides, on a safe career, like a teacher. But her world is turned upside down when her classroom is taken hostage by student Rafael Cerda. Rafael is being controlled by the drug cartel that is holding his brother and mother hostage. Mason Taylor is the undercover cop that has been mentoring Rafael, when Emilyís class is taken he tryís to negotiate their release. When that fails he makes sure he gets in the class to help. As Mason and Emily struggle to survive they fight unwanted feelings for one another. Fatal Exchange is a magnificent novel, I give it five stars. It is Christian fiction with romance and mystery. Fast paced and full of action it is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. It is book two of the Southern Crimes Series. You can read this book alone but...

I love Sandra D. Bricker's books, and I loved this one. Who would have thought that Shannon would wake up after almost 10 years? One of the things that touched me was Shannon's struggle to re-discover who she was and to reconcile her past life with her present one. Dr. Daniel had been sitting with Shannon since her husband died 2 years before she woke up. His reluctance to admit that he loved her was at times annoying, but typical for a man. I also think that every patient should have a Dr. Daniel taking care of them. I would definitely recommend this book.

Death Takes a Ride, The Cate Kinkaid Files by Lorena McCourtney Doing a good deed takes an mysterious turn when Cate Kinkaid shows up at H&B Vintage Auto Restoration to give a ride to friend of her aunts. When shoots are fired one life is ended, one hangs in the by a thread, while yet another is riddled with guilt. The detective in Cate canít help but be curious as to why it was done because it is fairly obvious it was self-defense. But nothing is as it seems. Author Lorena McCourtney did an outstanding job of bringing the characters to life. I found Death Takes a Ride to be entertaining, funny and a fast paced clean read. It is a Christian romance with lots of mystery. I truly enjoyed this 5 star book. It is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. I want to give a high-five to the author Lorena McCourtney and publisher Revell for bringing compelling Christian books that are entertaining and give hope to the reader with stories of faith. I was provided with a copy of ...
