I received this very quickly. The pages are not worn. Does not appear as if anyone has read it. I am very glad to still find a 50th Anniversary Edition.

The Healing Quilt by Wanda Brunstetter I give the awe-inspiring book 5 stars. Within the first few pages I know this book would be out of this world. I had a very hard time putting it down. I loved it and highly recommend it. The Healing Quilt is part of the Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club by Wanda E. Brunstetter. I have not read any of the other books in this series, it can be read as a stand alone. This was only the second book I have read by this author now she has a new fan. The characters were well developed, inspiring and you are sure to be drawn in by them. The main characters are retired Amish newlyweds Lamar and Emma. Together they teach a quilting class and pray for their students. Before you know what has happen you are drawn into the lives of these students. I can only hope to read more about them in a future book. The students all had unique hurts. You have BJ the artist, Erika the handicap teen, Phyllis the lonely housewife and her workaholic husband Mike, then Noreen ...

The Amish are known for their large families and Elizabeth Bontragerís family was no exception. She was the oldest of nine children! Her mother had trouble managing her supersize family so Elizabeth does the lionís share of caring for the little ones and doing the housework, and thatís after returning home from a full dayís work! She loves her family deeply and strongly desires to honor her parents but at the age of 20, feels she is missing the chance to have a life and family of her own. An English pen pal she met opens the door of opportunity by asking her leave her home in Goshen, Indiana and come live with her in Paradise, Pennsylvania. Sheís never had a rumspringa. Her wish is not to go wild as some Amish youth do during their rumspringa, but to truly seek what God would have her do, not what the church tells her to do. Her question is not to leave the Amish church; her roots run deep. Her confusion comes as to whether she would be dishonoring her parents by leaving home to...

A Bouquet of Love, Book 4 of Weddings by Design Series by Janice Thompson Cassia Pappas finds herself on Galveston Island after her family relocates there to start a new business. Her father expects her to work in the family Gyro restaurant but she dreams of working with flowers. As the family settles in and gets the restaurant off the ground Cassia finds the perfect job working for a local flower shop on the Strand. The only problem is her overbearing father forbids any interaction with the Italian family, the Rossiís and the flower shop is owned by the family. As Cassia tryís to hide her interaction with the forbidden Rossiís she finds romance and true friends. I found A Bouquet of Love to be light, fun and entertainingly humorous. The author Janice Thompson did a fantastic job of bringing this story to life with realistic characters and humor. It is part of a series but is a great stand alone book. I have not read the whole series and had no trouble following along. I have read b...
