I love this book and the enitre series. I was very happy at the end of the book that I was not bored and it wasnt the same as everything else. Some series get kinda dull toward the end but Harris is very good at keeping things interesting and new. I was pleased to see she left the ending open which can only mean one thing, MORE SOOKIE! I would acually like more Sookie now please, PLEASE?!
This latest installment in the Sookie Stackhouse and the Supernatural Boyfriend series is obviously paving the way for more mayhem to come. Bill, her first undead heart-throb and Eric, Sheriff of Northern Louisiana and Hunk of Undead love #2, are both back in play. There is also her missing were-love and her former lycanthrope lover - each provides complications. Then there is the black cat formerly known as Bob and a retired (but not by choice) witch and enough Fae to keep anyone hopping. That's the first few chapters..... From beginning to end, the book is full of old promises that may yet be fulfilled and new ones that may prove even more entertaining. The Stackhouse heritage becomes clearer and dearer in this new volume. But do yourself a huge favor and start at the beginning.
Not only did I get the newest Sookie book before most people registered that it was even out, but it was carefully packaged, and came out of it's envelope clean, with tight binding. That's what internet ordering is all about!
