The splitfish frag fx is a great new controller and inmy experiance plays fps games very well. Ihave tried it out on killzone 2, resistance fall of man and resistance 2, call of duty 4, call of duty WAW, battlefield 1943, MGS4, Farcry 2 and Rainbow six vegas. Because of this i can confidantly say that it plays FPS games very well. (and some other games as well)Some people may complain about the feel of the controller, it feels cheap or plasticy etc. Thats really a matter of preference, so I'll just say that it feels alot like the original sixaxis. As far as the mouse pad, for me it works just fine, but i could see PC gamers may be used to better onesIts easy to use and you can just plug and play, and if you have a PC, (sorry MAC) than you can download the free software to update and customize your controller. Which is a GREAT feature.It does improve your gameplay quite a bit, i can honestly say i did much better on all of my games as far as accuracy and sniping, however i would recommend playing the single player first to customize your settings.Great purchase great controller
