A sleazy Manhattan real estate developer and his fussy wife find themselves on the run from the Feds after their accountant diverts their income tax payments into his personal savings. Drawing on research from Witness, the two squabblers pass themselves off as new arrivals at the Amish community of Intercourse, PA (no, really), in austere surroundings that provide for plenty of yuks.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, but then I like Tim Allen & have not been disappointed in any of his movies thus far. For Richer or Poorer in the end put the emphasis on the important things in life which are those with lasting value. I do question if there are any benefits to younger viewers, though.

This is a clean movie, very good entertainment, the kind of movie you can watch over and over.
