Love it! Have made several things out of this so far and they have all been a huge hit! And since it has nutritional information, I can slide the information to figure out the points for WeightWatchers.
I purchased this copy as a gift for a family member, because I liked mine so much. We are both on Weight Watchers and the recipes in this cookbook are so easy to convert into "points".
Crockpot Cooking is such a timesaver, and this book has great recipes that let you cook healthier options.
I have only made two recipes from this book so far, Tasty Chicken Tortilla Soup and Porcupine Meatballs-both are really great. Super easy, and don't taste "diet". I used some substitutions from my pantry out of necessity, but that didn't change a thing in terms of ease and taste. I recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a lot of time to spare in the kitchen, but wants food that tastes like a lot of hands on time went into it!
I saw this cookbook at a home of friend and after reviewing it I thought I'd purchase it for myself because of the simple and wide range of slow cooker recipes: soups, stews, casseroles, chilis etc.

Great Recipes so far. I like the set-up where each recipe only takes 1/2 a page. It might be nice with a few pictures. I felt like I waited a little longer than usual to get the book, but what's an extra day or two? I hope to try many more--and already feel more confident with the crock pot.
This book is great for someone that is watching what they eat but don't necessarily have the time to cook a healthy meal when they get home after a long day. There are a lot of different types recipes to choose from so you never have to eat the same thing twice.

The recipes in here are quick and easy and, the best part is, they're low fat recipes. I've made a number of these dinners and all came out wonderfully and tasty. Already recommended the book to my Sister-in-law who just got a new slow cooker. There's no reason to get any other book. Quick and easy [and fat free] is what the slow cooker is for.
Although some recipes repeat, this is an invaluable resource for slow cooker chefs. Who needs to know that you whipped up a delicious and savory dish with one pot and an awesome book.
As someone who values nutrition and my personal time, I really like this slow cooker cookbook because I can prepare quick, simple, lighter-than-average meals for my family. Having a warm meal ready is very convenient, and it's WAY better than eating out as far as nutrition and control over your ingredients. I have enjoyed nearly all the recipes I've tried so far from this book. Since the recipes are compiled from people all over the country and not rated, you just have to try them out to see which ones you like best. Good variety of recipes, from appetizers, to meat, casseroles, vegetables, even some desserts.
