Cast and reel for an authentic feel with this fishing pole for your Wii control. This thin and lightweight rod adds a touch of realism to your gaming experience. It is comprised of five 7 inch segments that slide into each other for compact storage while not in use. When closed it is 10.5 inches and is 35 inches extended. The base of the rod is a mold designed to fit the top portion of your Wii controller. Included is a two inch long, plastic fish that you can tie on to the end of the nylon string which is located at the tip of the rod. A sure fire winner for those that love the sport of fishing; this game is a hook, line and sinker.

Poorly made. I played with it once and it fell apart. It added no value to the game and actually interfered with the signal from the controler to the game console. It was a piece of junk. Very disappointing.

We had a great time w/ this product. The price was great. But it broke into 3 pieces within the first 3 hours of using it. I'm not so sure it's for all ages. One must be fairly gentle with it. (It was my father that did this product in.) It was fun while it lasted. It makes for a great cat toy now. It was a little wierd that it came with attachments and no directions on how to put product together.

Could not get the fish to stay on the pole. The instructions were not good enough to tell you what to do with the white nylon string that came with the pole

The fishing rod is very delicate, made from hollow thin plastic tubing. The hole in the 'fish' for the line is too small and had to be made bigger. For use with the Wii, I expect about a week or less before it is broken.

This rod is great. It's extendable and comes with a little fish to attach to the string as well as extra string. However, the extendable rod can be tricky to get to go back down and sometimes I'm afraid of breaking it. The fish is a little tricky to get onto the string without a needle from a threading kit. Ultimately, this rod is too fun to pass up though. It extends completely with the swing of the wii-mote and the fish is just too cute.
