This computer animated film picks up where the Playstation FINAL FANTASY VII video game left off. Cloud, the hero of the game, has retired into seclusion, but when a mysterious and lethal disease known as Geostigma begins to spread across the planet, and three powerful, villainous children appear, he reluctantly emerges to face the new and mysterious threats. Featuring some of the most spectacularly lavish computer graphics ever created, ADVENT CHILDREN continues the complex and compelling tradition that has made the Final Fantasy series one of the most popular games of all time.

The english version usually have its flaws. I do prefer the japanese w/ eng. subtitles. This picks up where the FFVII game left off. Cloud feels he isn't able to forgive himself. His fight w/ silver-haired enemies isn't over for three "brothers" are seraching for their "mother." Only people w/ Genova cells (in this case, a disease called Geostigma) can sense it. Reno serves as a comic relief. You can hear him say "yo" in eng. ver versus "zo to" in jap. In the end, Cloud was finally able to pull through and finished Sephiroth by himself. It's too bad everyone else has the DVD in japanese already before they released the Englsh DVD. Even so, this is a must buy even though u may not b a Final Fantasy fan.

This was an absolutely amazing movie. The animation was flawless and everything that thye did they executed to perfection. Simply the best computer animated movie of all time and one of the msot amazing experiences in a long time. Highly reccomended

I remember Final Fantasy VII as the game that defined rpg's for me. This movie is for anyone who is a die-hard fan and just loves Final Fantasy. Graphics are amazing and the characters are those you love with a new mien. Square did well with this one. I've shown it to people who aren't into video games and they gave it good reviews. Buy if you haven't already!
