I am a strong believer in reading to a child as a baby. As the baby develops into a child and young adult, they should also witness you, the adult, reading -- lead by example. My grandchildren were introduced to "Magic Tree House" prior to entering daycare. As they developed their own reading skills, Magic Tree has become part of their home library. I encourage parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles, introduce Magic Tree House to your "little-ones".

  • Strange book. Read it before you buy it.

I was disappointed in this book. I wanted a book specifically about otters. I recommend that you read this book somewhere else before you purchase it. It was a strange story and not one I would want to read to my children. They might like the pictures of the otters in the ocean. It was purchased for a baby shower and I will have to add a note expressing embarrassment at the weirdness of the story.

This is a totally worthwhile purchase. It arrived earlier than expected and in excellent condition. It is suitable for children (and adults who appreciate imagination) of all ages.

Informative and yet not overwhelming for the little ones. My kids are at that age were they're getting curious about this sort of thing. This is a great conversation piece to start talking about the difference between boys and girls. It also has a short introduction about sex. The illustrations and the context of the book is all done in good taste.

Came in perfect condition including the cover of the book. Great price as well! Ending up buying another as a gift.
