Lose 12 pounds in 3 weeks claims the book. And after reviewing it, I believe it just might be possible. Written by the author of last year's "The Fat Smash Diet," the idea of this seems to be, if you want big results, you'll have to push yourself beyond normal limits to attain them. Once again, readers will find Dr. Smith's easy and friendly writing style. At the start of the book, you find out your "dieting type" and then quickly go from there. Since the book is set up for you to lose 12 pounds in 3 weeks, its organized in three 1 week cycles, which is 21 days. For each day, there is a menu plan (four meals a day) and a journal page you to write on. Know too that the exercise recommended each day is cardio. Other goodies include recipes, which easily make up about a third of the book, and a handy appendix ends the book (which contains useful info about BMI's, how to read food labels, etc.). All in all, I feel like this is a great book that is well laid out and very user friendly. One caveat though. Following the plan may not be easy at times, and the book will tell you this outright. Nonetheless, it should benefit many who struggle with their weight loss demons. Also suggest "The Sixty-Second Motivator" for readers who have trouble sticking with a weight loss plan.
This is a great concept and it does work. I lost 4 pounds the first week. However, I'm not a lover of brown rice or beans and after the first week, I couldn't stomach anymore. Needless to say, I didn't stay on the diet. I wish there were alternatives for people who don't eat or can't eat brown rice and beans. If you love brown rice and beans, this is the diet for you, because you eat it every day all day. Other than that, I'd say he's right on point with this Extreme Fat Smash Diet.
I just finished week 3 and have lost 14 lbs! I have been overweight for 3 years, and have never been able to stick with a diet. I want to lose about 30 more lbs, so I will repeat week "cycles"until I do. I like how your meals are laid out every day,so I just get my food ready for the next day when I am packing the rest of my families lunches the day before. Easy to follow, never hungry, very healthy food. My only question is what is dirty rice? He recommends it or brown rice, and the only dirty rice I know of is a fattening southern dish....give this diet a try, it is awesome!!!
This worked so wel l for me because of the simplicity of the meals, preparing the food and taking it to work or just with you thruout the day. I like the fact that you can start seeing the weight dropping quickly and it's healthy. Also he has a maintance plan to assist you with keeping the weight off. I feel like i have my own personal coach.

I also love the fact that you can switch a number of the meals around. I am sold. Portion control and exercise WILL make you lose weight!
