A Book Sense Bestseller

Christopher Paolini’s abiding love of fantasy and science fiction inspired him to begin writing his debut novel, Eragon, when he graduated from high school at fifteen after being homeschooled all his life. Both Eragon and Eldest, the second book in the Inheritance cycle, became instant New York Times bestsellers. Christopher is currently at work on Brisingr, the third volume in the cycle. He lives in Montana, where the dramatic landscape feeds his visions of Alagaesia.

I loved this books. It is a great read. i love the idea that the writer did not over do the discirption in the story. He left enough for your own image. This one is going to be one of my favorite books. i started reading it and could not put it down.

I purchased this book for my teenaged son hoping he'd read it because he liked dragons. He hated reading, this is the book that turned him into a reader. He has read this book several times as well as the sequel. Hgihly recommend this book.

  • Waiting on the third book to come out

This book has been passed around to more kids (and young at heart adults) than I can count. It seems that everyone that picks it and up reads a little of it doesn't want to put it down. The second book "Eldest" was just as good (so I am told). They are all waiting on the third book to come out. Even our ADD/HD child was able to sit and read this one.

  • About time

The shipping was fast this time and my son got to read it, but the first time I order this book (for summer time reading) it took over a month and we never did get it. The price was good and the Book was New. I do love overstock. Carla and Roy
