Although not a HUGE fan of Miss Paltrow, I find her absolutely appealing in this movie. The story, of course, is a winner, but it is enhanced tremendously by the dexterous handling of Emma by Miss Paltrow. Toni Collette does a wonderful job with HER character and the rest of the cast do equally well: the obnoxious are truly obnoxious and the simpering simper beautifully. I return to it frequently and am never disappointed in its entertainment value. I would recommend it to anyone for an afternoon or evening's enjoyable escape into the past.

Gwyneth Paltrow at her best. The entire cast is ideal and I liked this version much more than the A&E counterpart.

This was a good movie. I enjoyed it as a light hearted, easy to watch film.For some reason the closed captioning comes on during a certain scene and then goes off when it's over. It does it each time I put it on. I have no idea why.

I received this product quickly. It was exactly what I wanted and expected.

I enjoyed the movie. It's too tame for my husband, and younger children may not understand the plot, but it's one of my favorites.

A gem of a movie for fans of Jane Austin or Gwyneth Paltrow. Witty dialog and he vs she in that great British understated way which requires close attention to the dialog in order to identify compliment from insult.

She seemed so at home in this movie. Maybe she was - she moved to England not that much later!

I watch this one on a regular basis, the classic "feel good" movie. It's charming, funny, and romantic. Don't miss it.
