I've been enjoying the ELEMENT DVD series. This one is for beginners, but more in the intermediate level. I was very happy to see a modified transition from upward dog to downward dog with ease on my lower back. Thankfully, this DVD has a Chapter selection: Breathing and warm-up: a nice set up to quiet your mind and prepare; Standing Pose/Sun Salutations; Twists/Hip openers was something different for me. There are deep lunges, pigeon pose, and all done with a twist to open up even more; Backbends include locust and cobra poses; Forward bends/stretch. Overall, she didn't show modifications, but rather told you about them. The pace of the practice, background music and location, and her voice were befitting to a beginning yoga practice.
