I thought this set was a bit pricy considering they were only paperback and as such wouldn't stand up to wear and tear as well as a hardcover book. I'll keep it because my granddaughters birthday is right around the corner and is an avid Junie B. Jones fan, but I think the discount, from a web site noted for it's discounts, was not all that great.

I have already read and loved the whole series, and I bought this for my husband to hear on long driving trips. Before handing it over, I uploaded it to my iphone, and I have enjoyed it too. The reader does a great job as Bella. This book is great, and you will surly want to read or hear New Moon as soon as you reach the end!

A touching story about how Jack, a young boy, learns to appreciate not only poetry but cats as well. The story begins with Jack’s teacher Ms. Stretchberry asking Jack to write poetry about his dog Sky. Jack had Ms. Stretchberry as a teacher the year before when she introduced poetry to Jack’s class and Jack is not sure if he remembers how to write poetry, besides, he was not very excited to write poetry anyways. Jack decides to write poetry about a mean black fat cat, who he hated. As the story goes along, Jack begins to enjoy writing poetry and begins to be introduced to famous poets that he uses to help write different poetry pieces. By the end of the story, Jack has a cat named Skitter McKitter that he loves and helps him have a whole new appreciation for cats. This is great story that introduces poetry terminology as well as famous poets to a reader that may not be familiar with poetry writing.

My 4 year old enjoys reading all the Timothy books. They are appropriate books for a child who is about to enter Kindergarten.
