    Dr. Mary Enig is a world-renowned biochemist and nutritionist best known for her pioneering research on healthy fats and oils, and her early protests against trans fats more than twenty-five years ago.       This is a good book written by the authors of the book, Nourishing Traditions, which is a fantastic book. Eat Fat, Lose Fat talks about the virtues of extra virgin cocoa and other healthy oils and tells what oils are bad and why. It also gives a lot of wonderful recipes and three different healthful diets. It's worth the read.

      I am very pleased with this book. It is very informative and makes so much sense! I have felt more satisfied since I've been consuming the proper fats. I would reccommend also getting Nourishing Traditions if you want more good recipes. I found out about it through The Maker's Diet which is also a great book! I can't handle taking the coconut oil in hot tea though. I just put it in a smoothie.

      I highly recommend this book. I had borrowed a copy from a friend and had to have my own. Wonderful health information and recipes to help make lifetime diet changes. I also recommend another book that Dr. Mary Enig wrote with Sally Fallon, "Nourishing Traditions". These two books are what my family go by for our daily diet.
