Dragon Ball Z season 1, is an epic tale of Goku, Gohan and Piccolo and there battle to keep eath free from the Saiyans. If you want to get into the Dragon Ball Z series start at season 1. The marathon mode is nice because it plays from one episode to another without having to watch the introduction everytime.

The Dragonball anime sequel Dragonball Z has finally made it's way into one easy to buy box set. It's remastered. That's the only problem. The show it's self is phenomenal, a true great for action fans of any age. The original actors voices have been redubbed by the second group, and the screen has been cropped to widescreen. I like that the second group redubbed it, but the original show was full screen and they didn't need to cut off parts of the bottom and top. They did however add to the sides so it balances out somewhat. If you have been buying the dvd's one by one then you've seen how "grainy" it used to look that's been "remastered" out of it. Buy it Z fans and support the series.

Definitely one of the greatest action series there are. A must have. However, it has kinda cheap graphics but the humor and action makes it up for that.

its the 1st of the namek saga. you see freiza for the 1st time and the ginyu force, it is a must have 4 any dbz fan, uncut with the original japanese soundtrack 5.1 surround sound and wide screen makes it feel like your watching it for the 1st time again. on a scale of one to ten i give it a fifteen! :D

I have alredy bought this box set and I would recomend it to all DRAGONBALLZ fan's everyware to By it, and if your a parent by it for your kid this Christmas or his/her next B-DAY. But one thing is for sure wach it from the Begning& you will love it. And whene you wach episode 14 you'll lagh till it hurts!

FINALLY! the real 1st season of dbz is released in a nice, easy to buy package instead of all those individual and annoying-to-buy dvd's. If you're a DBZ fan like me then we've waited far too long for a release like this! I'll go as far as to say it's absolutely perfect ^_^
