having to adjust my eating habits now from gluten to no gluten this book was a big help in helping to understand the term celiac and what causes it and how to be very careful about the products i buy by reading the ingredients in them. the big plus was that it listed what fast food restaurants offered gluten free food. that was a big help.

I felt very strongly that the author's account of MS was a very benign one. Her experience was the disease was atypical, and I felt it inadvertently did a disservice by making MS seem like "not a big deal." Her experience is vastly different than that of the average MS patient.

Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. Dr Nagami is one of the most intelligent women I have the honor to know and admire. Down to earth, caring, and a very real investigator. She is Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson combined. This book is written exactly how she talks and thinks.

I bought this book for my mom, who is 79 years old and had been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. She'd been through a bad spell with the disease and didn't understand why she was feeling so bad. This book has really helped her understand the disease and its symptoms and gave her ways to deal with it; things her doctor never told her. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

this is an awesome book with lots of vital information for anyone facing cancer. It is hard to find but luckily you had some in stock. Someone gave it to me when I was battling cancer & I like to keep a few on hand to give to others when they are diagnosed. It really relieves some of the nagging questions about this horrible disease.

I have suffered with Fibromyalgia for a few years now. This book is so informative and helpful. It reinforces, from a doctor who has thoroughly researched the disease, that the pain, tiredness, lethargy, and other troublesome symptoms are real. I am grateful for such a wonderful resource!

I bought this as a gift for a friend who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. The information was well written, easy to understand and is a great source for her in her research on how to deal with every aspect of the disease. Highly recommend. This book was referred to me by a friend who also suffers from Thyroid disease. I must say this was one of the most informative books I've read about the Thyroid. There are quite a number of books on the market but I truly enjoyed this one. It was written in such a way that I was able to thoroughly understand exactly what the thyroid is and how it works. Not only that but how it relates to my health overall. It provided me with insight that I had not received from any of the doctors I had visited. It's good to know that there is information out there that can help those of us who may not be medically inclined to understand what we are dealing with in the realms of thyroid disease. The self examination portion was very helpful in identifying most of the symptoms I was suffering from. It allowed me to explain more clearly to my husband what I was dealing with and he appreciated it as well. So for anybody who may be looking for a good book that helps explain the thyroid I would high recommend this publication. I want to thank the author for taking the time to write such a wonderful publication so that the public could benefit themselves and at the same time have a positive outlook despite the bad affects of thyroid disease.
