we have a grandson that won't read. he is just not interested .. untill i sent him the first of the series of "diary of a wimpy kid" now, all he wants to do is read tis book. yeah ...........

My oldest son wanted this book so I got it for him. He still reads these over and over and he got them about 2 years ago. My 2nd son also reads these and he is not really into reading but he has found his niche with these books. They both love these so much. My youngest is in kindergarten too young to read these but he looks through the pictures and laughs out loud and WANTS to read these. What a brilliant series! Great for reluctant readers!

I bought a few book in this series for 1/2 the cost for my 8 year old second grader. He loves this series and is a good reader. The book is different and fun...I recommend this to anyone who has a child that loves reading. Its fun and new....a great learning experience that can teach your child how to start his/her own journal/diary!

My son loves Wimpy kid books.

A friend who teaches middle school recommended this book. My 11-year old loves it. It is laugh out loud funny and poignant (he would say cool) as well. I highly recommend it!

I liked this book a lot because it was so funny. i read it all in one sitting because of the great and funny storyline.

My son hates reading and it is always a struggle to get him to do his homework so when he requested these books, I ordered them immediately (overstock had free shipping at that moment) He read them both over a few days, just about every moment he was home...so, if you have an 8-12 year old boy...I would highly recommend these books

This book is the rage at my son's school. It was received and he read it in it's entirety in less than two days. Couldn't put it down. No TV, video games, nothing. READ. He can't wait to start the next volume. Excellent choice for children ages 9-12.

My 7 year old picked up the book and would not put in down. She is now on the second Diary book.

This book is a great book for a 10 year old boy. It is an easy read and keeps their attention.
