I like that it's fast paced and not too long. I can keep with it. I like to do two sections a day. After the first few days my core was very sore therefor, I know it's working
I have been taking pilates classes for a couple of months that though this tape has some pilates in it, it is not like the pilates classes I have been taking. I don't find it very relating and effective for me.

This is an easy DVD to follow, after taking Pilates classes, it is just like the class and therefore very familiar to me.
Great customizable workouts, and each one would make me sweat. I only wish she would slow down the pace a little bit, that would give more muscle work for each pose and more time for transitioning between poses. Still this is a great purchase. Can't remember all the subtitles but each 9-minute chapter focuses on one area: hard core, power abs, thighs, waistline and abs, ...
Great DVD. 20 min. 2-3 times a week and within a month I already lost inches. Within 3-4 months I lost 5 inches off my waist. I have chronic back and neck pain, but these stretches help relieve my pain and strengthen muscles to avoid future pain. I'm giving this as a gift to friends.
I've tried other Pilates videos and like Pilates, but I got bored with Mari Winsor's chatty style, and found Kathy Smith's 20 minute videos too short for my non-running days. This video is fast paced, a great work-out, and a actually really like that you can choose the segments to include. If I run I choose 2, if I don't I choose 5. If an area is sore I just leave that out, or if I'm feeling abs-y I focus there.
This is a fast paced, typical Denise Austin workout. She's the usual all smiles persona. Once you get past that, the workout is exactly as described--its targeted toward specific body parts, and does a good job with each specific area.
