Very helpful.
This book was very helpful in helping me understand a little bit about the root causes of the anger some people carry every day. I'm accomplished academic, but am stupid about people. I've learned to never trust my first impressions. I don't have that gift. This book helped me to look beyond the situation and try to give the other person the control they need. I'm still relying on what I've learned from books such as this. I was born without whatever sense others seem to have been given, but understanding that the issue may not be obvious has helped me.
