DLG (Dark Latin Groove) made their mark on New York`s mid-`90s dance scene with a pair of albums that elegantly revealed the connection between Latin dance music and the unwavering grooves of house, techno, and disco. RENACER is something of a comeback effort. Its immediate predecessor, 2003`s SERIE AZUL TROPICAL discarded many of DLG`s techno influences for a more traditional Latin sound, but RENACER sees the group returning to the bracing electro-Latin fusion of its heyday.
