I love this DVD! It reallly does soothe you and work out the stress. The instructor is very enjoyable to watch. I even roped my husband into trying it - and he was convinced yoga was all girly and not for him. He admitted afterward that he liked it. I think that the instructor's nature made it more approachable for him. My favorite feature on this dvd (which I haven't found on any other workout video) was that you could have the instructor's voice only as an option. I love that, because I can play my own music.
Last November I injured my ankle, torn tendons & a ligament. I couldn't sit on the floor in a simple cross legged pose because of the stress and pain to my ankle. I have healed as far as I can, the ankle will never be the same. So, I am now returning to Yoga after 7 months and found this dvd a great way to start. Very gentle on the knees and ankle. There are no sun salutes or warrior poses here. You can take the poses as deep as is comfortable. Sarah speaks calmly and clearly, not chatty. A great practice for those just starting with Yoga or to wind down for the day. A good DVD indeed.
This is by far my favorite yoga DVD! It is just as much for the beginner as the advanced student. You get what you put into it, especially since you can modify any of the poses for a deeper stretch. I often stop it mid-point to add Sun Salutations. It is also a very peaceful and relaxing program which will leave you refreshed and ready for your day ahead.
Very relaxing, yet gives a real good stretch to the body. Can be used by all ages and abilities. I love this dvd. I love to pop it in after a long hard day, and I not only feel less stressed and relaxed after, but my body feels great too.
I really enjoy this yoga workout! It's great for beginners, giving tips on how people like me can alter the workout and still do it, allowing me to build up to the full workout. It's so peaceful, a great way to unwind after a long day at work and feel great afterwards.
