The spiral binding is very nice. Since the book is about the author's technique on using one circular needle to knit two socks at one time, I wish the pictures of the technique would have been larger and better detail. Overall though, the book is nice and I will use it. There are 17 sock patterns for children and adults as well as men and women's socks.

This will be one of my favorite crochet books. Not only are there unique and lovely patterns (each with photos and pattern charts as well as instructions), there are many little extra tidbits (drawings, trivia, photos, commentary, and quotes) in keeping with the Jane Austen theme. This is a well made paperback book with over 200 pages which include 6 childrens patterns and 30 patterns of adult apparrel, accessories, and home decor. There are basic stitches reviewed at the back of the book. There is also an U-tube video tutorial for Autenstatious crochet as well as review for this book. Overstock.com seems to have the best price. I highly recommend this book for all those who love crochet and the romantic era of Jane Austen.

This book has a huge collection of woodworking projects with some really unique patterns and ideas. It's definately a great value. Some of the projects are for people with a fair amount of woodworking experience while others are suitable for children with some experience and adult supervision. Would highly recommend this book.

My friends and I are having a great time doing crafts on Friday nights. The materials are easy to get and inexpensive. The book is very easy to follow. I cant even draw a stick figure but this book is easy to make a masterpiece. I would suggest this book for adults and kids. What a great buy!

I love crafts, quilling, scrapbooking, etc. So I thought I would try Origami to use as embellishments to my scrapbook pages. I'm a quick learner when it comes to things but this book can be a bit confusing. The pictures don't always match the text. You definatly have to practice (even in the very easy section). There are different sections to this book from very easy to hard. Which is fine. But I wish the photos and text matched a bit better (like on the flower). If it did I think it would be so much more fun than getting to the end and the object doesn't look quite like the finished photo. I'll keep practicing but I don't think it should be called "Easy Origami".

I love that there are so many projects and the organization is so well laid out and has a lot of pictures. I have adult A.D.D. so that says a lot since many reading materials are not geared for us ADDERS and harder to stick with. I can't see how anyone could be disappointed with this book actually. BUY IT; YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID. :0)

I bought this for my adult son and grandson who love putting Legos together. I think it gave them another look into the world of fans who like them, want to see what others are doing with their Legos. Their imaginations are endless in this book. My son and grandson were taking turns reading the book. They hadn't seen this book before, so this was a nice surprise for them. It reminds me of the fans of Star Trek and how they too became a cult of that series. This too is a cult in a good sense. Fun for all.

These books are so fun and the characters you create are so cute. I like the way the instructions are presented, not dry or boring at all. The authors convery their sense of humor here, which is very refreshing in a book of this type. They are easy to follow for anyone who is not a big sewer or too familiar with the terms and patterns. I love these books, great for a hobby for any age, kids or adults.

This is a companion book to One Skein Wonders. I love all the different, fast, beautiful projects. I can try out a fancy yarn and not break my yarn budget. There are projects for every weight of yarn--lace through bulky, for children and adults. And you might even make something that you keep for yourself!!!
