I expected this book to be a larger format. This book is small, about the size of a children's reader. That means the knitting patterns have to be enlarged to be usable. I found the patterns interesting, but the format disappointing.
This book is a must have for those who want to take their embroidery to another level yet it's still appropriate for beginners. I never attempted this type of embroidery before because it looked so difficult. The author's directions are clear and easy to follow. My very first attempt amazed me! And another thing I like is you can use DMC embroidery thread which is affordable and easy to find.
I saw this book in a bookstore but it was much more expensive. I love Overstock.com because I can use Bill Me Later and not put it on my charge.
