  I own this book in hardbound and use it all of the time for projects, so I was pleased to find the super price on the paperbound version at Overstock and have purchased it as a gift for a friend. This is one of the very best of the crochet books available. The pattern photos give a clear idea of each design and the design diagrams make pattern overviews easy. The written instructions back up the photo and diagram and what is more important.....every pattern that I have used from this book has turned out! The front of the book has stitch instructions and an explanation of the international crochet symbols ( in case the user is not already familiar with this super easy and useful type of pattern reading). Patterns range from very easy/ simple to the fantasticly beautiful complex and are grouped by type (shells, lace, clusters,bobbles,v-stitch etc....) with an overview pictoral gallery in the front. For those who purchase this and discover how wonderful it is, you should know that Lind...

  Book has sewing info, cooking info, holiday tips too. Beautiful illustrations. Fun historical info too. I do like this book allot. Would & have recommended to friends.

  Great reference source. The "estimated values" are exactly that...the value will vary with the economy-as always. Guide does offer excellent background facts on the products.

  I don't have a problem with the product. It's an excellent book, but it took 10 days to be delivered!! That's crazy. I won't be buying any more books here. They never use to take so long and I had purchased a lot of books in the past. What happened???
