There was not a soul who lived on the east side of Buffalo, NY who didn't go so these 2 movies at the Apollo Theater on Jefferson Ave. that didn't leave this theater without talking about these two films for days on in. It was during time era when racism was trying to decline, but still existed heavily among the cities of NY. But it also showed that with a little street smart and education one can put their mind to do what needs to be done to overcome the only color that mattered, and that was the color green. Fred Williamson not only was a leading actor, he was most wanted among the single young ladies back in the days as well. In looking back at these movies, there was always someone, a music score or some event that happened in these films that reminded you of what your were doing when these movies originally played back in the 70s. Watch out now..., Harlem was put on the map of New York for all to see!!!
