darlingdixiedonkeys from Texas, Rating:5.0This book could have been titled CHEESE MAKERS BIBLE, for that is an accurate description. I had ordered this book several years ago, and when our home burned to the ground 5Dec2010, it was lost. I was delighted to find OVERSTOCk had it and was able to replace it at 1/2 the price I'd paid for the original version!!! If you want to try cheese making, you SHOULD buy this book first.

amberbarrett from Dallas, TX, Rating:5.0This is the perfect book for anyone starting out juicing with lots of questions, or someone who wants good recipes "prescribed" for specific conditions. It is filled with loads of easy to understand nutritional information. When people express interest in juicing as a diet or lifestyle, I recommend this book and the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead". The benefits are so immediate (energy, weight loss, general health), it is very easy to stick with. This is the perfect place to start!

amberbarrett from Dallas, TX, Rating:3.0If you are looking to occasionally make a refreshing juice this may be what you're looking for. However, if you are, like me, looking to juice 3x/day (I only eat for dinner) thiis is very impractical. A high percentage of these recipes require that you first juice, then add juice along with another ingredient (banana, avocado, yogurt) to a blender. It has a few recipes I enjoy without all the hassle, but not much other information on nutrition or juicing for particular health benefits.

meow2wow from O.C. CALIFORNIA, Rating:5.0This is such a great go to cookbook. Lots of great weight loss tips too! I have other cookbooks from Marlene Koch and this is my favorite. We're all trying to eat healthy meals and lower the sugar and salt , this is perfect blend of both- without sacrificing taste!
